"All life is an experiment.  The more experiments you make, the better."

-Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Do you have to do a science experiment for school, but don't know where to start? Whether you have a topic in mind or not, whether your project is due tomorrow or in a month, this guide will help you get started with books, websites, databases, and more.  Most of these resources provide detailed steps of specific experiments.  A few resources focus on the background information you need to understand your experiment.

This guide is to help students in grades 3-6 and their parents design fun and educational science experiments, for school or home.  Although many of these resources can be found online or at any local library, some items require a Bridgeview Public Library card.  Others are non-circulating and can only be used at the Bridgeview Public Library.
